Biography

Jim Hawkes brings substantial experience in Part 135 Charter Operations to Prime Jet, serving as the Director of Operations for Prime Jet for the last four years. Prior to his tenure as Director of Operations, he held the Chief Pilot position at Prime Jet for three years. Hawkes was a key player in helping to build the Prime Jet brand into the reputable company it is today. A native Californian, Hawkes began his aviation career flying gliders in the high desert and soloed at age 14. His career took him into the commercial market as a pilot for American Airlines and subsequently into the corporate aviation community. His aircraft experience is diverse having flown over 9,000 hours on a wide range of aircraft, including Lear Jets, Hawkers, Boeing 767 / 757 series, as well as Gulfstreams. With a commitment to service and professionalism, Hawkes has built partnerships with professionals in all areas of the industry
